A Class of Their Own 9, 10 from Virtual Quilter

This project file started when I was teaching a small group some tricks to designing quilts in Electric Quilt quite a few years ago, using blocks from the EQ Library, but making changes to them to fit better into a design.

This colour collection sets a happy mood for me. Perhaps it is the combination of my Mums favourite colour, purple, Dad’s favourite colour green, and the gold of crops ready to reap so all the bills could be paid over the next year.

A Class of Their Own 7, 8 from Virtual Quilter

The first design is one which would stop me in my tracks if I was wandering around a quilt exhibition.

I should have used the same centre in the middle of the second one. Might have to do that during a coffee break today.
